The ENVIROMUX® Remote Power Reboot Switch allows you to remotely reboot and control power (on/off) to a server or other powered device.
- Auto scheduler allows for scheduling power on/off/reboot events.
- Auto-Ping feature
- Local-ping: automatically reboots connected device if there is no response.
- Remote-ping: pings a remote host and powers up connected device when there is no response.
- Control an unlimited number of Remote Power Reboot Switches from one software application.
- Password protected for security.
- Easy to use web interface
- Heartbeat detector - monitors for a network message on a regular interval. When it misses a user defined number of intervals, the switch will perform a programmed action. The following are ways the signals can be generated:
- A Windows executable running as a tray applet that transmits continuous heartbeats to the Remote Power Reboot Switch
- A Windows executable running as a tray application that monitors a specific process. If the monitored process stops responding, the application will stop transmitting the heartbeat to the Remote Power Reboot Switch
- A Windows .dll file for use by Windows applications.
- Allows developers to imbed the heartbeat protocol directly into their own software.
