| Steel Pallets The Steel Pallet offers a stronger, more durable pallet that provides material handling managers a way to reduce shipping costs per trip compared to wood or plastic pallets. Made of the most recycled material on Earth, the new distribution pallet prevents rust, is flame retardant, does not attract or harbor insects and has superior racking strength compared to traditional pallets. The Steel pallet are made of galvanized steel and has four-way forklift and pallet jack access. It features a welded assembly without fasteners that gives it more than 3,500 pounds of unsupported racking capacity and 40,000 pounds of static load. The pallet weighs 63 lbs., 10 lbs lighter than comparable wood pallets. The steel pallets can be used in the pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, chemical, lubricant and printing industries.
