Air Dunnage Bags INTRODUCTION TO DSP DUNNAGE BAG Dunnage Air Bags are used to restrain movement of cargo loads in trucks, overseas containers, or railcars. They fill voids, brace loads, absorb vibrations, and protect cargo from in-transit damage, better than any other form of bracing ("dunnaging") Dunnage Bags are constructed of multiple layers of high strength extensible Kraft paper and is coated with polyethylene to resist moisture. The inner liner is constructed of co extruded polyethylene film for added protection against loss of air pressure. Equipment required to inflate Dunnage Bags (1) Air-Compressor ( 2) Air-Hose (3) Air Gun How to install a Dunnage Air Bag :- Step 1 select the correct size and ply bag making sure that the bag covers as much of the surface of the load as possible. Step 2 Use appropriate buffer material to place between the load and the bag making sure that no sharp edges or points can contact the bag. Step 3 Correctly position the bag in the void space with the bag being placed a minimum of one inch above the floor and not extending above the top or sides of the load.
