In response to the vision of the Government of Malaysia on not to heavily rely on foreign workers, Construction Labour Exchange Centre Berhad (CLAB) with the assistance of Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB) has embark in a program to place local graduates from Akademi Binaan Malaysia (ABM) which has been trained in a few areas of trade and expertise to construction companies. ABM is the training arm of CIDB Malaysia caters for the development and upgrading of skills amongst construction workers.In addition to that, CLAB provide the best to fulfill all requirements needed by the contractors and to further support the industry by providing them with the right construction manpower.
For contractors who want to hire local workers, CLAB in collaboration with training institutes will assist the contractor in obtaining local candidates.
What must be provided by the contractor are:
-Complete the application form below: i. Local Worker Request Form (R05) – Application Form (Employer)
-After filling in the form R05, fax/ email/ send the application to us. We will help to put candidates are required along with the application made by the contractor. CLAB charge a service fee of RM100 for each successful employee in place.
