On storage challenges related to solar PV inverter and then scale up to 74,000 MW as solar PV power inverter is INFIRM power and it does pose challenges to the grid (peaking load and not a base load), hence, the residential roof top solar inverter systems with the present erratic load management or grid supply is just a national waste (instead the industry roof top with interest subsidy, without capital subsidy and Accelerated Depreciation is ok) as the Government is not receiving taxes and also paying extra in the form of Capital subsidy / Viable Gap Funding, which is a like a Criminal Conspiracy as opined in COAL GATE / 2G policy making / implementation.
There is a compelling case for Solar power energy in India. Stand alone solar inverter systems in rural areas on rooftop will sooner or later become attractive and feasible. Like my own company others from Americas are waiting for Indian solar inverter's market to reach a point where business will make more sense. My Company is keen to talk to an interested Indian business to contact us for discussions for working together.
