PROGRAMMING
Part A: Welding Inspector Theory (05)

• safety in welding, measurement metrics, welding & cutting process.
• Welding terms, definitions and weld symbols.
• Welding Inspection and evaluation of welding
• Welding metallurgy, and other Destructive Test methods
• Assess the discontinuities of the weld and base metal.
• The Visual Test methods and other Non-DestructiveTestings.

Part B: Interpretation of the Code D1.1 (03)

• Content in D1.1 standards for each chapter / section.
• How to use AWS D1.1 code.
• How quick reference sections in the standard AWS D1.1
• The reliable method to avoid common mistakes when using D1.1 standards.

Part C: The Practice of Visual Welding Inspection (02 days)

• How to use the tool to check weld quality.
• How to ensure the application match the criteria given.
• Range of use documents
• Regulations on discontinuities approved
• Regulation of discontinuities is not approved
• Why do external testing as highly effective compared to the other non-destructive testing methods.

REQUIREMENTS *

·  Welding Engineer / Mechanical engineering with over 03 years of   practical experience in supervision of welding.

·  6G welder or have more than 05 years of practical experience.

·  Ability to read and understand technical documents in English

* For students not meet the above requirements, we recommend that students enroll in order to shorten the learning program CWI, after the learning process continue to discuss with the teacher for guidance details. When students have confidence on new knowledge to proceed to register to attend the exam.
START **: day 1^st  and 15^th  of every month
* Students please register before the 07-day course for us to make arrangements to attend. The classes are held when there are 05 or more students enrolled, we reserve the right to postpone the course in case of the number of registered students is not sufficient quantity on.

EXAMINATION AND CERTIFICATION LEVEL
Tests in English include:
 Part A: Theory 150 questions, do not use materials
 Part B: Application Code D1.1 50 questions, permit to use Code D1.1
 Part C: Practical welding assessment form: 50 questions, use the Specifications.
 Assessment certificate: issued by the International Welding Engineer (students do not stay more than 30% of the sessions)

·  For Associate Welding Inspectors (CAWI): the test was 60%

·  Welding Inspector (CWI): tests from 72% or more
