High Pressure Solenoid Valve Series VCH

For any application where the pressure exceeds the conventional valve max pressure specifications the VCH range. Designed to meet the demands of the plastic blow moulding industry, this range of product has found many other applications. Includes a specially designed exhaust silencer which is perfect for high flow exhausts, reducing the noise and also the icing which regularly occurs with high flow and moisture laden air.

Process Industry and PET machine builder's requests for both 2 and 3 port, pilot operated, solenoid valves, with high pressure performance are now answered with the launch of SMC's latest Series VCH range. Designed for use with air or inert gas, these new valves can operate up to a maximum pressure of 5.0 MPa thereby substantially exceeding SMC's existing VXH high pressure series. With large flow passages, and ISO1179-1 conforming port thread sizes of G1/2 to G1, high flow rates are ensured and due to a reduction in the overall volume of the pilot chamber their responsiveness can now only be measured in milliseconds. Additionally, the VCH range offers enclosure protection equivalent to IP65 and a DIN type electrical connector as standard and due to its unique collision-less armature construction, with rubber buffers and urethane diaphragm, early indications have confirmed that the valves operation life time will exceed 10 million cycles. Currently the VCH Series is available in four different valve configurations; 2 port valve normally closed - VCH41, 2 port valve normally open - VCH 42, our 3 port option - VCH410, plus a check valve  VCHC40.

ISE80

To compliment and extend the existing SMC Digital Pressure Switch ranges, we are pleased to unveil our new Series ZSE/ISE 80 which has been specifically designed for use with a wide range of fluids thanks to its improved, corrosions resistant stainless steel, wetted part construction. Pressure ranges can easily be monitored via its dual colour display either in Vacuum (-0.1 to 0 MPa), Compound (-0.1 to +0.1MPa) or Positive (-0.1 kPa to +1 MPa, -0.1 kPa to +2 MPa) regimes, dependant on its application, and with the option of an analogue current output, this new switch makes remote location mounting a perfect selection.

 

ISE70/75/75H

When R&D engineers from leading automation control experts SMC Pneumatics were asked to develop a compact, high pressure switch, incorporating a large digital display, to monitor both coolant and hydraulic fluids – the new Series ISE 70/75 was their perfect response. Effectively extending the existing SMC pressure switch range, these high performance, yet lightweight, pressure controls are available in three options: ISE 70 for use with air or inert and incombustible gases - monitoring a set rated pressure range between –0.1 to 1MPa, and the ISE 75 and 75H models for use with fluids requiring a set rated pressure of up to 10MPa and 15MPa respectively. With die-cast aluminium bodies and 4 setting control options, the operating status can be quickly seen, by viewing the highly visible 10mm high character dual colour displays. Available with 2 or 1 outputs, Rc, NPT or G1/4 port thread options and with fixed or selectable MPa or PSI pressure indications, these switches conform to both CE and UL/CSA global accreditations and IP67 enclosure ratings, making them the ultimate solution in high pressure control.
