SEKO Malaysia Sdn Bhd (SMSB) is a fully owned subsidiary under Guan Lee Precision (GLP) group of companies. GLP has its humble beginning since 1981 in sales and technical services of imported commercial scales and weighing instruments. GLP built 1st production line in 1993 for fabrication of precision mechanical parts for various industries. GLP was involved in design and manufacturing of the 1st Malaysian made single dial spring scale in 1995. Production capacity was doubled in 2000 for double dial spring scale and as of today, GLP is the only spring scale manufacturer in Malaysia. The company is ISO 9001 certified.
Incubated as a technical and R&D arm of GLP since 2003, SMSB was officially formed in 2011 to focus on design and manufacturing of forklift scale and weighing system as well as fabrication of precision parts for various industries. Furthermore, SMSB also offers excellent services as a system integrator for customized industrial weighing solutions for our customers base.
