ZP2V


New

Machine builders using vacuum for handling or pick and place applications now have an energy saving option with our new Series ZP2V vacuum saving valve. Developed initially for the semiconductor market, these new valves are designed to shut down the suction line when any leakage is detected from the vacuum pad not being fully aligned with the work piece or even when the work piece is simply missing. By effectively stopping the air suction when the system recognizes any irregularities, the energy used in making this vacuum is kept to an absolute minimum. And, without the need for a work piece detection mechanism - which often use mechanical moving parts - those unwanted surface scratches or marks on the work piece are now a thing of the past.Ideal for use as either a stand-alone single vacuum pad or for multiple vacuum pad applications where the vacuum pressure loss is reduced to a minimum and the work piece remains held by the rest of the operating pads, ZP2V users will also save money and time by eliminating the need for expensive sensors or a programmable logic controller (PLC) plus dramatically reduced labour costs when altering the control circuit to accommodate a different shaped work piece.

ZP3


New

We continue to suck up the competition in the vacuum sector with the launch of our new ZP3 Series, which complements the ZP and ZP2 Series. Available in three options - flat, bellow and flat with a groove for easy work-piece removal - the ZP3 also offers a range of diameters from Ø1.5mm to Ø16mm. The pad length has been shortened by up to 9mm and a new Ø2mm tubing port means the ZP3 requires up to 75% less piping space. Its joint construction design connects the pad with the adapter and a new internal shape guarantees both sections fit perfectly. In addition, a new fixing boss (lateral vacuum inlet) offers easy mounting and repeatability leading to labour savings. The buffer body has also been reduced in length by up to 55.5mm and has an additional 3mm short stroke type. Available in a wide range of materials and piping selections, which includes a new male thread option, the ZP3 can be used for a variety of vacuum applications from the transfer of general work to semiconductor and chemical work.

We continue to suck up the competition in the vacuum sector with the launch of our new ZP3 Series, which complements the ZP and ZP2 Series.

ZPX and ZPY series vacuum cups are available in 16 diameters from 2mm to 125mm, making it ideal for heavy weight material or objects with a large surface area. The lateral vacuum entry is supplied threaded or with optional hose barb, and with or without buffer. This versatile design can be used for a wide number of applications. 6-cup materials in 4 designs give great freedom to the designer when solving application problems. Using special materials in the cups such as conductive materials that help ensure static discharge further broaden their uses.

ZPX and ZPY series vacuum cups are available in 16 diameters from 2mm to 125mm, making it ideal for heavy weight material or objects with a large surface area.

ZP series vacuum cups are available in 19 diameters from 2 to 200mm, 6-cup materials, and 4 cup designs, offers a wide selection to choose from. The 4-cup designs flat, flat with ribs, deep and bellows are standard, but if these don't meet your application requirements, contact us about your special application. Our engineers have custom made many designs and shapes using a variety of materials.

Following the launch of our new Series ZP2 range of vacuum pads, we can now offer customers a complete one-stop-shop solution. Developed as part of our growing range of vacuum related products this new Series ZP2, when combined with our existing ZP and ZP2V vacuum pad ranges, provides us with a formidable portfolio of pad options to meet even the most challenging of handling and transfer needs. Series ZP2 vacuum pads are available in a wide range of sizes, shapes and materials and they are suitable for a variety of applications.

ZB


New

Requests for a vacuum unit with fast workpiece absorption and improved transfer application performance have now been answered with the launch of our new compact vacuum ejector and pump unit - Series ZB. Developed initially for wafer and chip transfer applications, Series ZB is around 25% smaller than our alternative vacuum units and it´s also considerably lighter - at only 46g for a single unit without sensor. Thanks to these reductions in size and weight, the ZB unit can now be mounted directly onto a machine´s moving component and as close as possible to the transfer workpiece - dramatically improving the vacuum absorption performance. Series ZB has also been constructed with separate vacuum and pressure paths which effectively reduce the chance of dust collecting in the filter element being discharged into the surrounding atmposphere via the units exhaust. Additional ZB features and options include a supply valve with latching specifications, a digital vacuum switch, with copy function, where up to 10 switches can be set simultaneously thereby saving installation time and potentially annoying individual input setting mistakes and the use of simple one-touch-fittings to connect a suction filter and silencer.

ZK2

We are delighted to introduce our ZK2 Series vacuum unit, developed in response to increasing customer demand for improved evacuation performance and energy efficiency. Our new ZK2 provides an improved ejector/pump vacuum unit with extremely efficient air and power consumption, thanks to the introduction of an energy saving digital pressure switch, which decreases air consumption by 90%. A more effective two-stage ejector further increases suction flow and reduces air consumption. To prevent work pieces from dropping, the Series ZK2 features a Dual 2 port release/supply valve. Its clever all in one design makes this new product lighter and more compact than previous models, simplifying installation and maintenance. The ZK2 is suitable for several applications such as transfer, panel conveyor and packaging/unpacking and is perfect for tight spaces where ejector space is limited.

Lightweight, point-of-use ZH and ZU series vacuum generators combine design simplicity with high performance. Simply plug an air supply tube in one end, and vacuum is ready at the other end. The slim ZU generators are extra compact. The ZH and ZU immediate response may be quicker than central vacuum systems. Also, these generators are often smaller and lighter than the bulky vacuum lines used in central vacuum systems. A built-in exhaust silencer keeps generator noise to a minimum. The multi-stage ZL series is a high-efficiency vacuum generator, which operates at 150% efficiency (compared to about 40% for other units). For each scfm of compressed air it consumes, the ZL generates an incredible 1.587 scfm of suction flow. The ZL is available with a built-in vacuum switch with digital readout for design flexibility. When you already have one of the lightest and narrowest space saving ejector systems on the market, it´s difficult to see how you can improve it. But, our R&D engineers have once again come up with another great idea. By simply replacing the ejectors existing pressure switch with our ultra thin ZSE 10 digital pressure switch, input setting errors are dramatically reduced and with the units copy function, multiple stations can be easily copied and set from the master unit. Our new ZSE10(F)/ISE10 pressure switches really do fit the bill when lack of available machine space is an issue. Designed specifically with space savings in mind, and measuring only 9.8 mm width, they offer similar performance to our popular ZSE30A/ISE30A models but require around 50% less mounting space. Further features of these switches include a copy function where the setting of the master sensor can be copied on up to 10 slave sensors simultaneously resulting in reduced setting time and human setting errors. Also, all settings can be protected against unwanted manipulation using the switch's password setting function and with their improved multi -angle direction visibility; vacuum suction and pressure checks can be made at a glance. Available in direct, panel and DIN rail mounting options and with side or rear piping directions, these digital pressure switches really lend themselves to multiple switch applications when panel space is restricted.
